"Eight Songs for a Mad King" by Peter Maxwell Davies is a stunning musical and theatrical portrayal of King George III losing grip on reality. Is he insane, or does he finally recognize the madness around him? We are pleased to welcome the incredible Boston-based Callithumpian Consort to Anchorage. Eight incredible musicians will perform this powerful piece and two works by Charles Ives. Meet the performers at a post-concert reception. Tickets only $15 for students--available at CenterTix.com or (907) 263-ARTS. Also, these amazing musicians will conduct master classes for UAA students on March 22 and 23.
