Lemonade Day was brought to Alaska in 2011 as a way to teach important business skills to Alaska children by supporting the fun, interactive experience of running a lemonade stand. Since then, more than 16,500 young entrepreneurs in over 30 communities across Alaska have sold an estimated $3 million worth of lemonade!
Lemonade Day Alaska is a program of the Alaska Small Business Development Center through the UAA Business Enterprise Institute. For events leading up to Lemonade Day Alaska on Saturday, June 9, volunteers are needed to table at events, help register kids, lead activities, take photos and more.
