Tree clearing at Alumni and Providence rescheduled for April 7-8, 2018

Beginning Saturday, April 7, tree clearing activity will occur in the wooded area at the northwest corner of the Alumni Drive and Providence Drive intersection (see map below). This activity is expected to last through the weekend.
The right-hand lane of Alumni Drive-closest to the activity-will be closed during this time. The campus community is encouraged to exit east campus at UAA Drive. Pedestrians should be attentive to potential detours.
The tree clearing is associated with a Municipality of Anchorage project to expand the bus stop next to the UAA/APU Consortium Library Plaza and improve pedestrian flow in the area.
