Lindsey Chadwell now University Registrar

by Michelle Saport  |

I am pleased to announce that Lindsey Chadwell has accepted the position of University Registrar for UAA.

Lindsey has worked for the Registrar's Office for the last 12 years, first as a student and then professionally for the past 10 years. During this time Lindsey has earned a reputation for being a problem solver with a can do attitude both at UAA and throughout UA. As someone who is well versed in UAA and BOR policy, curriculum, and FERPA, she is often the go to person for answers or to determine a best course of action. Lindsey's professional time within the Registrar's office has included working as a Degree Certification Specialist during the DegreeWorks implementation period, Publications and Curriculum Specialist, Assistant Registrar, and most recently Interim University Registrar.

Lindsey previously earned a BBA in Marketing & Management and an MBA from UAA and was part of AACRAO's (American Association of Collegiate Registrar and Admission Officers) inaugural Registrar 201 class this past spring.

Besides being part of the DegreeWorks implementation team Lindsey has been involved with the transition to electronic transcripts, implementation of the transfer equivalency system, onboarding of workflows within OnBase, online application for graduation, and leading efforts with Banner 9 implementation. At UAA she currently serves as an ex-officio member of both undergraduate and graduate academic boards, is part of the EAB SSC implementation committee, a member of NCAA Compliance and Eligibility Review Committee, involved with commencement committee, and a member of the Online Learning Advisory Council, just to name a few.

Please join me in congratulating Lindsey.
