May 7-14, 2018: Open forum with candidate for director of UAA Master of Public Policy and Public Administration Program

UAA is establishing a joint Master of Public Policy and Public Administration program in the College of Business and Public Policy. The search committee working to find a director for that new program has chosen three candidates: Stephen Colt, professor of economics at Alaska Pacific University and professor emeritus of economics at UAA; Jerry Herbel, director of the Master of Public Administration program at Kennesaw State University in Georgia; and Sara Rinfret, director of the Master of Public Administration program at the University of Montana in Missoula.

The director will be responsible for leading the growth and development of the Master of Public Policy and Public Administration program, and the three candidates will all make presentations describing their vision for the program. Everyone is invited to attend the presentations and will have the opportunity to ask questions.
