Watch out for aggressive gulls around campus

by Michelle Saport  |

Be on the lookout for sea gull chicks and goslings at the UAA campus. The adult gulls and geese are very protective and it isn't always obvious when a baby is right outside an entrance. Be alert when exiting all campus buildings, particularly the Social Science Building due to significant gull traffic around the Library Plaza. Be aware of your surroundings when taking the detour around construction in the area.
