June 28, 2018: Lean Center of Excellence continuous improvement workshop

The fourth event in the Lean Center of Excellence continuous improvement workshop series is being hosted this week on June 28, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. on the UAA Main Campus. This session shall focus on applied leadership and will offer strategies for consensus-building and leading change efforts within the University of Alaska.
Facilitated by Lean Six Sigma Project Manager Matthieu Ostrander, this workshop will offer an opportunity for participants to practice and apply change leadership strategies through hands-on, interactive exercises. Based on feedback from previous workshops, exercises will be broadly applicable to situations and initiatives across UA.
While no previous Lean training is required to attend, participants will benefit from exposure to the Lean methodology.
Advance registration is required and can be completed online. Participation via video conference is possible for this workshop for employees who work outside of the Anchorage area.
