Alert testing scheduled for Aug. 16, 2018

The UAA Office of Emergency Management will be conducting the summer test of the Informacast emergency public address alerting system this Thursday morning (Aug. 16) at 9:30 a.m. You should hear a brief announcement through your Cisco IP Phone speaker, starting with "Attention! Attention!" and ending with "Thank you." Other alerting modes through UAAlert, such as emails, texts and phone calls, will NOT be tested during this drill. If you do not hear the message clearly and in its entirety, please notify IT Services at (907) 786-4646 or callcenter@uaa.alaska.edu for follow-up. Your assistance in these exercises will help ensure that UAA officials can get crisis information to those who need it, in a timely fashion.
