Faculty Senate and incoming Chancellor Sandeen visit Kenai River Campus for fall retreat

The Kenai River Campus had the privilege of hosting the UAA Faculty Senate fall retreat on Aug. 17, where they met to discuss faculty-related issues. The Faculty Senate met in the Ward building and spent some time getting to know a little more about Kenai Peninsula College. They even took the time to gather in front of the metal moose for a photo.

Dr. Cathy Sandeen, incoming UAA chancellor, who takes the reins on Sept. 15 from Interim Chancellor Sam Gingerich, also joined the UAA Faculty Senate at their fall retreat, held for the first time at a community campus.

The event was facilitated by KRC Faculty Senate member and newly promoted Associate Professor of English Scott Downing.
