Alaska Community Challenge seeks project ideas for students

by Michelle Saport  |

Every year, University of Alaska students complete hundreds of projects as part of their degree programs.

This year, UAF's Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialization is launching the Alaska Community Challenge-an initiative seeking to connect real challenges and problems with students who would be interested in tackling them as part of their academic experience.

Since students typically spend their fall and spring semesters working on projects, it is it important that challenges be available by the end of August so that students can contact sponsors for more information.
