by Michelle Saport  |

Native Student Services is looking for volunteers to help check in 75 Alaska Native/Rural Freshmen for the Native Early Transition program on Monday, Aug. 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Rasmuson Hall, Room 108.

We need your help checking these students in! This can include checking students in, providing them with the NET agenda, ensuring they complete paperwork. For some rural students, this can include providing them with placement test information and registering them for fall 2018 classes. If you are an academic advisor, student success coach, student success coordinator, etc., please consider signing up.

We also need volunteers to greet and direct students. Please consider signing up to help out. Eight to nine students are assigned to show up every hour on the hour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please email Amber Sims at amber@alaska.edu if you would like to sign up.
