Dr. Larry Foster, Professor of Mathematics & Institutional Self-Study Tri-Chair Dr. Susan Kalina, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs & Institutional Self-Study Tri-Chair
Larry Foster and Susan Kalina spoke about the upcoming NWCCU Site Visit. Dr. Foster stressed that it was important for people to read Chapters 1 & 5 of the Self-Study Report Executive summary and encouraged attendance at the forums for all that can make it. Dr. Susan Kalina spoke about the importance of the focus on student achievement (graduation rates, retention rates and cohort loan default rates) in relation to the NWCCU visit and how the federal government is looking at these factors.

Adam Paulick, Chief Information Officer/Associate Vice Chancellor, Information Technology Services
Mr. Paulick spoke about Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams and how they can be useful. Telecom (phone) billing has changed. There are no longer long distance charges as of January 2018. PINs will still be used for tracking purposes. In the next few months, IT will be rolling out annual billing for telecom services. Cisco Jabber is currently in a test phase with IT. Jabber will allow you to have use of your phone on your computer. The UA statewide CITO position recruitment is in progress. A decision should be made within the next few weeks. The Request for Proposal for Video Conferencing is in development. Desktop billing has changed. Departments will only be charged if they need immediate in person help. Staff Morale Survey The annual morale survey will be coming out to all staff and posted in the Green & Gold this month. We highly appreciate all staff input, as this is a way to gather feedback that may impact university changes. This survey is anonymous and confidential. The results are only provided as group feedback with quantitative, data analysis within graphs. Past results can be viewed on the Staff Council website.

Chancellor Sandeen will be our guest speaker on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018. Staff Council looks very forward to having our new Chancellor visit!
President Johnsen will be attending our Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 Staff Council Meeting. Staff Council is gathering talking points for this meeting. Please post questions or comments you would like to be addressed to our Facebook page or reach out to any of your local Staff Council Members.
