UA Board of Regents hosts public testimony call-in session Oct. 29, 2018

The UA Board of Regents will set aside two hours Monday, Oct. 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to listen to Alaskans about issues related to the university or good news from campuses around the state. This is an opportunity to address topics on the Board of Regents' November meeting agendas. Committee meetings will be Nov. 1-2 and the full board meeting is Nov. 8-9, all held in Fairbanks. Major topics on the board's November agendas include: approving the university's FY20 budget, including funding to implement a compensation and benefits plan; approving a policy that puts into place a protocol for delayed reports of misconduct; an update on the university's timber sales; and, a workforce needs report.

Public testimony is aired live on KUAC2 at kuacii.streamon.fm on Oct. 29. More information on the call-in session and meeting agendas is available at alaska.edu/bor.
