2018 Alaska Ski Swap

Save the date: The next Alaska Ski Swap is set for Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, Noon-5 p.m. at the Alaska Airlines Center. More details coming soon. See below for the 2018 announcement.
Alaska's largest ski and winter sports gear swap will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at the Alaska Airlines Center from noon to 5 p.m. The public is encouraged to register any gently used winter sports gear at akskiswap.com.
"This event has been held annually for over 40 years," said UAA ski coach Andrew Kastning. "It's a huge help to local families to keep sports like Alpine and Nordic skiing affordable." Aside from racks of skis and boots are fat tire bikes, hockey gear, and winter sports clothing.
Vendors this year include Black Diamond, Blue and Gold Board Shop, Powder Hound Ski Shop, Ski AK and more. The AK Ski Swap is a community service provided by the Alyeska Ski Club and the UAA Ski Team. Registered gear can be dropped off Friday evening, Oct. 19, between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. or the morning of the sale, Oct 20, between 8:30 a.m and 10:30 a.m. The sale on Saturday, Oct. 20 begins at noon.
