Independence Day 2018

Note: UAA will not conduct classes on Friday, July 6, but all administrative and support offices will be open and campuses operational that day.

UAA IT Call Center open reduced hours - July 6, 2018

The UAA IT Call Center will be open reduced hours, from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Friday, July 6, and will re-open for normal weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Researching the effects of climate change in coastal western Alaska

UAA postdoctoral researcher Dr. Katharine Kelsey spent three summers in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta studying the phenological mismatch between local vegetation and migratory geese caused by climate change and how that affects greenhouse gas emissions going forward.
