The UAA Office of Emergency Management reminds you to turn your clocks ahead one hour Sunday, March 11, 2018 as Daylight Saving Time begins. This also serves as a good opportunity to remember to replace the battery in your smoke detectors and refresh the water in your emergency readiness kit.

Bacteria are on the menu in Experiential Learning: Microbial Biology. Students in the upper-level biology course took a mid-semester break to chop sauerkraut and cultivate yogurt, all while learning how bacteria plays a role in the kitchen. Germ appétit!
