ISER Director Townsend looks at challenges of Alaska’s changing demographics for Northrim Bank Lecture - Feb. 12, 2019

Dr. Ralph Townsend, ISER director, will discuss how changes in Alaska's demographics will impact workforce and health care costs at the annual Northrim Bank Lecture series at Mat-Su College Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m.

Using the latest research and data on Alaska demographics, health care costs, and employment, Townsend will provide insights into challenges facing Alaska in the next decades.

The Northrim Bank Lecture Series, free and open to the public, will be held at the Glenn Massay Theater on the Mat-Su College Palmer campus, 8295 E. College Road, Palmer, Alaska.

A reception with light refreshments begins at 6 p.m., the lecture begins at 7 p.m.
