UAA Student Showcase deadline extended through Friday, Feb. 8, 2019

We are pleased to announce that applications for the 2019 UAA Student Showcase have been extended through Friday, Feb. 8, at 5 p.m.
For 35 years, Student Showcase has highlighted the extraordinary work of UAA students. Beyond highlighting student work, Student Showcase creates an opportunity for dialogue among university and community members. All applications undergo an anonymous review, and students receiving the top scores are invited to publicly present their work in the Student Showcase Conference in April 2019. Distinguished community members are invited to the conference as well to evaluate, critique, and comment on students' work.
Save the date: The 2019 Student Showcase Conference will be on Thursday, April 4, at 7:15 p.m.-9:30 p.m. and Friday, April 5, 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
Students in the University of Alaska Anchorage system are invited to submit outstanding, original works created for a UAA course or program in Spring, Summer, or Fall of 2018. Students may submit papers or projects in any field of study. Submissions of group works are accepted. Only one application may be submitted per student.
