Dear UAA Students, Staff, Faculty and Administrators,

We are thrilled to share the Anchorage Climate Action Plan Draft for public comment. Many of you helped us write this plan and shared your ideas along the way-thank you! We invite you to look at the entire draft plan and tell us what you think. You can find the draft plan and comment form at the Municipality of Anchorage website. The public comment period will run through Sunday, March 31.

We will also be hosting a public forum to discuss the draft plan on Wednesday, March 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Loussac Library. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions and share feedback with us in person.

So far, more than 900 residents have participated in community meetings and workshops throughout the development of the Anchorage Climate Action Plan. In order to be successful, this plan needs to reflect the values, concerns, and priorities of our community. Please check out the draft plan and tell us what we are missing and what we did right. We look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely, The Anchorage Climate Action Plan Steering Committee
