April 2-8, 2019: Assistant/Associate Professor of Communication final candidates' teaching presentation

UAA staff, faculty, students and community members are invited to participate in teaching presentations by the top three finalists for the Assistant/Associate Professor of Communication faculty position.

Each candidate will conduct a 30-45 minute teaching presentation on the topic of their choice. Following the presentation, participants will have an opportunity to ask the candidates questions.

Amber Worthington, Ph.D. Tuesday, April 2 10-11:15 a.m. Sally Monserud Hall, Room 109 Topic: "According to persuasion theory, does winning trump ethics?"

Tzu-Chiao Chio, Ph.D. Thursday, April 4 10-11:15 a.m. Sally Monserud Hall, Room 109 Topic: "Fighting against prejudice with friendship: Intergroup contact with our daily lives."

Maria Butauski Monday, April 8 10-11:15 a.m. Sally Monserud Hall, Room 101 Topic: "What are the personal, social, and material consequences of vulnerable identity disclosures?"
