Climate Disruption Meets the Green New Deal Monday, April 22, 5:30-8 p.m. UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307
In observance of Earth Day, come join us for a viewing of Disruption, an investigative documentary on the devastating consequences of climate change. There will be a teach-in/forum following the film on the Green New Deal, a federal stimulus package that aims to simultaneously address America's economic and equity woes and its most urgent environmental challenges.
Event kicks off with networking and appetizers at 5:30 p.m., followed by film screening at 6 p.m. and discussion at 7 p.m. Light snacks will be provided. This event is sponsored by the UAA/APU Books of the Year.
