Kids on campus for Kids2College - April 12, 2019

by Michelle Saport  |

The Office of Admissions is welcoming the annual Kids2College program back to campus on Friday, April 12.

For those of you who are not familiar with this event, Kids2College is part of a larger program put on by Alaska Commission on Post-Secondary Education, whose goal is to promote access to, and success in education. Approximately 700 5th and 6th graders from the Anchorage School District will be visiting UAA, and rotating through three learning sessions/presentations and a lunch. Our goal is to provide visiting students with a positive experience at UAA, and open their eyes to new possibilities. Please welcome visiting students to campus by saying hello, giving a high five, and by sporting your best UAA apparel.

If you are interested in learning more about this event, please visit the ACPE website or contact Alexis Rasley at acrasley@alaska.edu.

Reminder: Enrollment Services offices and phones will be closed on Friday, April 12, to help host the event.
