Providence Drive traffic closure scheduled for April 17-19

Update - Aug. 16, 2019: Read the latest traffic alert about MOA's culvert replacement project.
Repair work continues on the Chester Creek drainage culvert beneath Providence Drive. To accommodate construction, Providence Drive will be closed between Spirit Drive and UAA Drive starting the morning of Wednesday, April 17 and ending the evening of Friday, April 19.
- Full eastbound/westbound closure (April 17, morning): All eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed to traffic the morning of Wednesday, April 17.
- Full eastbound closure (April 17-19): Starting the afternoon of Wednesday, April 17, both westbound lanes will reopen to traffic, and only the eastbound lanes will be closed through Friday, April 19.
- Partial eastbound closure (April 21-TBD): Beginning Sunday, April 21, eastbound traffic will be restricted to one lane with reduced speeds, likely until a long-term fix can be constructed toward the end of summer.
Please use detours and allow yourself extra time to reach your destination.
