2019 Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference set for June 14-18Registration is now open for the 2019 Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference, recently named one of the "Twenty-Two Most Inspiring Writers Retreats in the Country" by Poets & Writers.

This year's conference, June 14-18 at Land's End Resort in Homer, will feature daily workshops, readings, craft talks and panel presentations in fiction, poetry, nonfiction and the business of writing. Award-winning poet, essayist and naturalist Diane Ackerman will serve as the keynote speaker.

For almost twenty years, the Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference has been at the heart of Alaska's growing literary community. With its focus on community and craft, this conference strives to celebrate and enhance the connection between writers and readers in our communities.

Conference-goers and the public are invited to attend the free Festival of Readings, June 15-17, happening as part of the conference.
