UAA/ISU Doctor of Pharmacy program welcomes Walter Fitzgerald as new dean

Walter Fitzgerald Jr., B.Pharm., M.S., J.D., will take the helm as the twelfth dean of Idaho State University's College of Pharmacy on June 30, leading operations across all degree programs, including the UAA/ISU Doctor of Pharmacy Program located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus.

"The committee is excited to welcome Dr. Walter Fitzgerald as our newest dean," said Tom Wadsworth, assistant dean for Alaska programs and chair of the dean search committee. "We look forward to his leadership and enhancement of our school's renowned reputation for a century of excellence in pharmacy education and innovation."

Fitzgerald will be based in Pocatello, Idaho, with offices at Meridian, Idaho, and Anchorage as well.
