Caixia Wang joins 2019 cohort of TRELIS Fellows

Congratulations to Caixia Wang, assistant professor of geomatics, on joining the 2019 cohort of TRELIS Fellows! The NSF-funded Training and Retaining Leaders in STEM-Geospatial Sciences program (Award #1660400) provides professional development for academic women in the geospatial sciences. The competitive program's 2019 cohort includes 16 women from across the U.S. The fellows first met June 8-10, 2019 for a three-day workshop in Washington D.C. "designed to target topics and concerns of early-career individuals and focus on envisioning and crafting leadership pathways." Engagement, collaboration and support will continue throughout the program year. Learn more at the TRELIS website.
