Honoring Staff Council Staff Recognition Awardee Jennifer Wisel

Congratulations to Jennifer Wisel, the most recent recipient of the Staff Council Staff Recognition Award! Jennifer is the Senior Alumni Relations Specialist at UAA whose expertise is putting on amazing alumni-related events. The annual Nine in the Spine "Partee" this past spring saw the highest attendance and giving rates in its history, all thanks to Jennifer. In preparation, she traversed the entire campus setting everything up, organized the sponsors and players, and stayed well past midnight to wrap up. Her colleagues never have to worry a detail will be forgotten; Jennifer seamlessly gets invitations, catering, parking, and all logistics in order. There are ebbs and flows, as with all work, but during a typical spring, Jennifer typically juggles over 15 events...in the month of April!
Colleagues in the Alumni Office commend Jennifer for routinely going out of her way to treat everyone (alumni, current students, faculty, staff, and community members) with the utmost respect and courtesy, providing the highest level of customer service possible. Her positive attitude, winning smile, and dedication is a constant bright light even during dark times.
Jennifer, thank you for your continued work and dedication; you are making a huge difference at UAA!
