WWAMI interim program director selected as 2019 Alaska Family Medicine Physician of the Year

Kathy Young, M.D., was selected as the 2019 Alaska Family Physician of the Year by the Alaska Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Young has been a faculty member at the Alaska WWAMI Medical School for eight years, teaching clinical and classroom medicine. She also sees patients in clinical practice. Dr. Young became the interim program director for Alaska WWAMI in September 2019.
