The course has been taught worldwide in academic and community settings. It teaches participants skills that can be used to reduce anxiety (including academic anxiety), enhance resilience, cope with stress, and develop a regular practice to cope with stress.

Participants need to commit to the full series, only being absent where unavoidable. Attendance at the first two classes is required. Those who complete the full series receive a certificate. Please wear comfortable clothing. A half-day weekend silent retreat will also be offered as part of the course.
