Join UAA for First-Generation Student Celebration Week events Nov. 4-8, 2019. First-Generation Campaign Photo Booth: Nov. 4 through Nov. 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Rasmuson Hall, Lobby. Stop by to get a First-Generation sticker and take a photo to celebrate. Question of the Day: Nov. 4 through Nov. 8. Stop by the Student Union to answer the question of the day. "Why Not Us?" film screening: Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Student Union Den. View a film centered around first-generation students and enjoy the discussion to follow. First-Generation Celebration Cake & Soup: Wednesday, Nov. 6, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the UAA Multicultural Center. Stop by and join the celebration with free soup and cake. Brown Bag Lunch & Learn featuring First-Generation Panel Discussion: Thursday, Nov. 7, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in Cuddy Hall. Listen to first generation students, faculty, and staff tell their story. Ice Cream Social hosted by TRIO. Friday, Nov. 8, 2-4 p.m. at the UAA Learning Commons. Join UAA TRIO for a free ice cream social.

Please join us all week to celebrate first-generation college students, alumni, staff, and faculty. There are activities daily from Nov. 4-8, 2019.
