(Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Dinner starts at 5 p.m.) Hosted by Native Student Council, this is a 100 percent student-fund-raised event. Please support students at UAA by bringing a dish if you can!

The event provides a Thanksgiving-style meal and traditional dance performances for students who may not be able to make it home for the short, festive weekend. There will be five traditional Alaska Native dance performances, each from a different region of the state! Performance schedule:

  • 5:30 p.m. Ida'Ina Keljeshna (Dena'ina)
  • 6 p.m. Acilquq (Yup'ik)
  • 6:30 p.m. Sugpiak Dance Group
  • 7 p.m. King Island Dancers of Anchorage (Inupiaq)
  • 7:30 p.m. Tlingit/Haida/Tsimshian Dance Group

We also have amazing partners that have donated door prizes, and Alaska Native artists will be there selling their work.

Event is free and open to all students, employees, community members, and is family-friendly. All are welcome, so come celebrate with Native Student Council! Parking is free at UAA on the day of the event.
