Hands-on culinary and educational nutrition courses open for registration

Are you interested in taking hands-on culinary or educational nutrition courses? Check out our spring 2020 one-credit 490 courses. These courses are available to students, staff, faculty and the community. The following courses still have seats open!

This lecture course delves into the nutritional aspects of popular diets, including the Ketogenic, Atkins, Paleo, South Beach, DASH, Mediterranean, Flexitarian, Weight Watchers, Vegetarian, Vegan and Raw Food diets.

Ever wonder why health professionals say to eat your colors? If you have a desire to learn more about why food is medicine, this is the theory course for you! Learn about the current topics in nutrition and how our food choices impact our health.

This is an exciting course that explores the world of yeast-leavened doughs from natural starters to sweet doughs. If you've ever wanted to bake delicious breads and the perfect cinnamon rolls in your own kitchen, this class is for you!
