Out of an abundance of caution, we are canceling the upcoming Community Engagement & Career Fair scheduled for April 8, 2020. Connect to your career at the UAA 2020 Community Engagement & Career Fair!

 

You're invited to network with business representatives from a variety of career fields to learn about full-time, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities. This is a great way to learn about the variety of ways you can gain career skills and build your resume.

All UAA and community members that are job searching are welcome to attend for free!

Make a great first impression

• Do your research on Handshake about the companies/organizations beforehand to prepare appropriate questions for their representatives.
• Get your resume reviewed prior to the event by making an appointment on Handshake with Career Services.
• Practice your opening 30-second introduction of yourself.
• Come professionally dressed with copies of your resume.
• Don't forget to ask for business cards at the Career Fair so you can follow up with the employers with a thank you message.
