Dear UAA Community,
It has been a Herculean effort, but after one week, UAA's campuses across Southcentral Alaska have successfully transitioned to delivering courses via alternate methods in keeping with social distancing recommendations.
As chancellor, I am especially impressed by the can-do spirit and teamwork that has emerged in such a short time. None of this could have been possible without everyone — students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and community partners — banding together in service of our mission.
Even though we are physically apart, I know I am surrounded virtually by all of you. Continue to stay connected by using #UAAatHome on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter to post photos of how you're working and studying. Include your pets and any other new work companions, too!
Thank you all! We are doing this together. Stay safe, stay strong and be well.
