Share your UAA memories

Dear Graduate,

Congratulations on your tremendous accomplishment! With your time as a UAA student coming to a close, we are excited to welcome you to our involved alumni community, which has grown to more than 57,000 and counting.

Based on the survey we sent out, this semester’s graduates overwhelmingly expressed that they are not interested in a virtual commencement, but are still interested in an opportunity to celebrate. This may include participation in a future in-person ceremony, but unfortunately we’re not sure what that will look like at this time.

We are working diligently to celebrate your accomplishments. As part of these efforts, we will launch a new website on May 3 — A Tribute to Our Grads: UAA Spring 2020 Graduation Day Celebration. The website will include a recorded video message from the Chancellor and your student speakers, a variety of other acknowledgments, as well as the conferring of your hard-earned degrees. More information about this site is to come, and you'll be the first to know.

We would love to incorporate your memories into this website and we’re asking you to send in photos and videos that showcase your favorite memories from your time as a Seawolf. If you’re interested in contributing, use this form to submit your photos and videos. Remember, these may be shared publicly, so please do not submit content you wouldn’t want your family to see!

Thanks again for your patience and flexibility. We will continue to communicate with you as we move through this situation together.
