Film highlighting salmon research at KBNERR streaming as part of Earth Optimism

Earlier this year, Smithsonian Global debuted "The Heartbeat," a film featuring a collaborative research project, called the Salmon and People Project, by Kachemak Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. The project explores salmon in Alaska and how to protect the future of salmon. Watch the video when it streams as part of today's Earth Optimism Digital Summit (airing during the 4 p.m. AKDT block).
