Grace period to use FY20 Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds has been extended

by UA Human Resources  |

The Employee Transitions and Benefits team would like to announce that effective immediately, the grace period to use FY20 Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds has been extended from Sept. 15, 2020 to Dec. 31, 2020. This means that the money leftover in your Health Care FSA after June 30, 2020 can be used for any services rendered up through Dec. 31, 2020 and will not be forfeited until after Dec. 31. If you enrolled or re-elected the Health Care FSA for FY21, those dollars will be used after your FY20 dollars have been exhausted. There is no action required by employees as this will all happen automatically through ASIFlex.
