The UAA Seawolf Transfer Trail is here

by Reba Hale, UAA Assistant Registrar  |

The Office of the Registrar, Admissions and several Advisors combined efforts to implement a new transfer portal designed to allow prospective transfer students a chance to see how their previous coursework would meet UAA degree requirements. With the Seawolf Transfer Trail tool, it takes as little as 10 minutes to determine how their previous test scores and coursework would transfer to UAA and apply to different associate and baccalaureate degrees. Additionally, prospective students are presented checklists, tools and possible other majors that fit with their career paths which may be achievable more quickly.

It’s as easy as:

  1. Selecting up to three UAA majors.
  2. Adding past colleges and courses.
  3. Adding AP, CLEP or IB exam credit received.

After adding their transfer coursework, they will be able to review the summary for recommended majors, percentage of UAA degree completion and even related careers! For more details, please visit our new Transfer Students webpage.
