About the workshop

This will be a hands-on workshop in which you will learn how to TILT a curricular or co-curricular assignment or activity toward greater transparency. Participants should bring an assignment or activity to work on, with a preference for one that aligns with the Core Competency Personal, Professional, and Community Responsibility.

About the keynote speaker

Suzanne Tapp is executive director of the Teaching, Learning, and Professional Development Center and an adjunct faculty member in the Integrated Studies Program at Texas Tech University. She is a former Board of Directors member for the Professional and Organizational Development Network for Higher Education (POD) and founding chair of the Texas Faculty Development Network. She recently had the privilege of serving as co-editor of the new book, Transparent Design in Higher Education Teaching and Learning. Her research interests include organizational change, inclusive teaching practices, ePortfolio development and digital storytelling. And last but not least, she will gladly engage in almost any conversation about her family’s favorite hobby: running.
