Join Jennifer Booz, Chief Diversity Officer (CDO), for the first CDO Book Club. Completing the book is not necessary; join us at any point in your read! Open to all UAA staff, faculty, students and alumni.

October's book is How to be an Anti-Racist by Ibram X. Kendi. Books are available at:

  1. Most book retailers.
  2. Check your local library.
  3. UAA/APU Consortium Library. Through both regular library catalog and through UAA only Overdrive digital reserve (direct link for checkout). Even if it shows 0 available, additional copies will show once patrons log in with their UAA/APU credentials. You will need your UAA ID WOLFcard number and a PIN (which is initially set to the last four numbers of your ID card).
  4. Limited number of hard cover books available through UAA Executive in Residence grant. Please email CDO Book Club to request a copy and arrange for socially distanced pick-up.
