by UAA Center for Community Engagement & Learning  |

The Urban and Rural in Alaska: Community Engagement Conference brings students, faculty, staff and community members to broaden their awareness and involvement in campus-community partnerships.

This year's event, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 20, will feature a keynote address and the popular "rapid fire" faculty presentations and will explore ways in which the pandemic has shaped change in our communities. New this year, attendees will be invited to participate in our a Think Tank centered around “Tactical Urbanism” and reenvisioning Midtown Anchorage.
