Staff Performance Management Guide and Coaching Conversations Training

If you haven’t already done so, now is a great time to begin the staff performance evaluation process. Performance evaluations are designed to engage supervisors and employees about performance expectations and to provide coaching and support to align with both individual and departmental goals in concert with the University of Alaska (UA) mission.

There are two options for completing performance reviews. The first option is to use the myUA Dashboard Performance Review. As an alternative to myUA, supervisors can complete paper or PDF performance reviews. Some departments currently have standard evaluation forms. Human Resources has provided one as well.

The UA Human Resources (HR) team is providing Performance Management Tool and Best Practices learning sessions. Labor and Employee Engagement Specialist, Kelley Lassey, will be facilitating sessions from April 2021–June 2021. Please pre-register through the myUA Employee Services Dashboard Learning Library to attend training via Zoom and to receive credit for the training. Training information will be sent to registrants two days prior to each training date.
