Fall course materials submission portal open March 15-April 2

Dear UAA Faculty,

The textbook and other course materials submission portal at the UAA Anchorage Campus Online Bookstore will be open for Anchorage faculty to submit their adoptions from March 15 to April 2. All Anchorage faculty must enter course material information, even just to indicate that the class will use Open Educational Resources, other zero cost materials, or no required materials for the class.

Sometime between March 15 and April 2, log in to enter your fall course material information at www.uaa.textbookx.com using your existing UAA credentials. To comply with federal regulations requiring UAA to publish course-material costs before registration, after April 2, the portal will be set to read-only. Changes after April 2 may only be made due to unforeseen circumstances and with the dean's approval.

  • Tara Starr, UAA’s Akademos Account Manager, at uaabookstore@akademos.com. Tara can help you with the adoption process, provide training on how to use the adoption portal, and help troubleshoot issues. Tara will also be monitoring the stock of adopted books and reach out to professors if inventory-related issues arise.

Inclusive access
Any faculty using Inclusive Access (formerly Day 1 Digital) will work with Tara Starr and directly contact her. After you work out the details, Akademos will upload these adoptions on your behalf.
