All We Can Save: Truth, Courage and Solutions for the Climate Crisis with Dr. Ayana Johnson

The University of Alaska Anchorage is proud to partner with the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies to host an Earth Day 2021 keynote discussion. This event is part of the UAA Books of the Year program and supports the theme of building community resilience.

Join keynote speaker, marine biologist, policy expert and writer Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Sumudu Atapattu, the director of Research Centers and senior lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School for a discussion of Johnson's book, All We Can Save: Truth, Courage, and Solutions for the Climate Crisis. Together, they will explore conservation solutions rooted in environmental justice including the Urban Ocean Lab, a think tank Johnson founded to improve the future of coastal cities.
