Annual Assessment Retreat
Thursday, May 6, 2021, 9 a.m.–noon
Zoom — Register today!

Who: While required for all academic assessment coordinators, deans, and community campus directors, this year’s Retreat will broaden out to include folks from across the institution to continue our conversation about the Core Competency Personal, Professional, and Community Responsibility.

In particular, the Retreat will be of interest to anyone engaged in assessment and evaluation activities for their area.

What:

  • Overview of the streamlined process for program student learning outcomes assessment reporting. Thinking about whether a modified version of the report might be used by other areas at the university.
  • Next steps for Personal, Professional, and Community Responsibility, including the development of a graduate exit survey.
  • Preparing for the NWCCU Mid-cycle Evaluation site visit on Oct. 7-8, 2021.

Why: Expanding our thinking about:

  • How UAA engages in understanding the student learning that takes place across the institution.
  • How all areas contribute to that learning.
  • How UAA integrates the Core Competencies into the fabric of who we are.
  • How UAA integrates the student success metrics into evaluation, planning and resource allocation.
