Director of Public Relations Kirstin Olmstead departing Sept. 7

Dear UAA Faculty and Staff,
After nine years at UAA, first in the Community & Technical College and then in University Advancement, Kirstin Olmstead will depart her current role as director of public relations to begin a new position with Providence Health and Services. Her last day at UAA will be Sept. 7.
There is no question that Kirstin's departure will be felt across all of UAA's campuses. Her work has been invaluable as UAA has navigated an unprecedented pandemic year, following several others that were highlighted by crises, transitions and major initiatives — all of which required a level of professionalism and skill that Kirstin consistently delivered. The impact of her communications and her PR expertise has been tremendous.
