Free EPSCoR animation workshop, Sept. 13-17

Alaska NSF EPSCoR will hold a free animation workshop the week of Sept. 13–17.
This workshop is designed to familiarize individuals with technologies and tools that can be used to create engaging data visualizations. It will focus on building animated infographics using an open-source, multi-faceted program called Blender. The concentrated course will be taught by EPSCoR Data Visualization Specialist Naomi Hutchquist; it will take place from 3–5 p.m. Sept. 13, 15 and 17, with each day including an hour of demonstration followed by an hour of working time to address specific questions and problems.
No previous animation experience or UA affiliation are required for the course, which will be offered virtually. Learn more and sign up.
