2021 UAA Annual Accreditation/Assessment Seminar
Preparing for the Mid-Cycle Visit
Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 via Zoom
9–11 a.m.

This year’s annual seminar will focus on preparing for the Oct. 7-8 NWCCU Mid-Cycle Evaluation site visit. Chancellor Parnell and Provost Runge will kick off the session with a welcome and, along with the accreditation tri-chairs and the Accreditation Advisory Committee, will guide us through reflections about UAA’s Mid-Cycle Evaluation.

To prepare, think of examples and stories that demonstrate how your program or unit 1) integrates or plans to integrate the core competencies into your work; 2) closes the loop on assessment and uses the results to improve student learning and achievement; 3) uses or plans to use the disaggregated student achievement data in your decision-making and resource-allocation processes in order to close equity gaps.

Visit the Institutional Accreditation website to see the core competencies, the first set of annual reports on the student achievement metrics, including the disaggregated data and UAA’s Mid-Cycle Self-Evaluation Report, as well as evidence of the work you have accomplished to date to get UAA to the Mid-Cycle Evaluation!
