Monthly Moment with OEC

As the fall semester begins, as does the requirements for Title IX training. This is the time of year that you will receive multiple messages to ensure that your Title IX training has been completed, per federal requirements. While this may seem like just another thing to add to your long to do list, I'd encourage you to take a pause to remember why it is so important. To foster a safe and respectful learning and working environment, it is important for students and employees to know their rights and responsibilities to address, report and prevent sexual misconduct. So while you are completing your Title IX training this year, you can know that you are contributing to a healthier environment for us all. Whether a student or an employee, we are all a part of our thriving university community that necessitates our roles as active bystanders.
