UAA ranked among 2022 Best Colleges by U.S. News and World Report

UAA earned high marks for its undergraduate engineering, nursing, computer science and business programs in the 2022 Best Colleges rankings, released by U.S. News and World Report this month.
For school rankings, U.S. News gathers and tabulates data on up to 17 indicators of academic quality from each school, ranking colleges in each category by their total weighted score. Program rankings are based solely on peer assessment surveys.

National rankings
#75 — Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs - No Doctorate (tie)
From a field of more than 200 schools, UAA tied with 16 other institutions for 75th-best
undergraduate engineering program — placing it in the top third of programs across the U.S.
#79-104 — Best Online Master’s in Engineering Programs (tie)
UAA tied with several other schools, including Case Western Reserve and University
of Central Florida, for the best online graduate engineering program.
#148 — Best Undergraduate Nursing Programs (tie)
A new category for this year, UAA's nursing undergraduate program placed at No. 148
out of nearly 700 schools — placing it in the top 20% of programs nationwide.
#224 — Best Undergraduate Computer Science Programs (tie)
UAA landed a spot at No. 224 for best undergraduate computer science program out of
more than 500 schools.
#244 — Best Undergraduate Business Programs
For undergraduate business programs, UAA placed at No. 244 out of over 500 schools.
Regional rankings
#71 in Regional Universities West (tie)
UAA is tied for 71st-place for best overall in the west with one private and four
public universities.
#34 in Top Public Schools (tie)
Among public schools in the west region, UAA placed at No. 34 on the 2022 list.
#122 in Top Performers on Social Mobility
UAA placed at No. 122 for social mobility among all regional universities in the west.
